The Self-Timer adds a countdown delay between tapping the Second Shutter Button and the camera actually taking the photo — ideal for group shots, selfies, or any situation where you need a moment to get into position.
How to enable Self-Timer
Self-Timer can be assigned to the Second Shutter Button on the Capture Screen. To assign and use it, follow these steps:
- On the ProCamera Capture Screen, tap the Control Panel icon.
- Tap the 2nd Shutter icon to display the submenu of features that can be assigned to it.
- Select Self-Timer to assign it to the Second Shutter Button.
Setting the delay time
Tap and hold the Self-Timer Button to access a menu where you can quickly adjust the delay time. You can set a custom delay anywhere from 1 to 60 seconds.
Tip: For full ProTimer intervalometer controls, tap “Enable ProTimer” in the top right corner of this menu. It allows you to set a custom number of photos and the interval between them — perfect for timelapses and other long-running series.
Taking a photo with Self-Timer
Tap the Self-Timer button to start the countdown. The camera automatically takes the photo when the countdown ends.
Additional Self-Timer Options in Settings
To access these settings, open ProCamera Settings and tap Self-Timer in the Photo Mode section.
