ProTimer - Intervalometer

The ProTimer Intervalometer expands the standard Self-Timer with advanced interval shooting for time-lapses, long exposures, group shots, and self-portraits. With full control over number of photos, timing, and intervals. It's ideal for everything from everyday photography to creative projects like astrophotography, stop-motion animation, star trails, and wildlife photography.

Key features of ProTimer Intervalometer

  • Interval Between Succeeding Photos: Determine the pause duration between consecutive images. Setting it to 0 seconds (“0s”) means capturing consecutive photos as fast as possible.

Common Uses for ProTimer

  • Time-Lapse Photography: Capture gradual changes over time, such as moving clouds, sunsets, or bustling cityscapes. The individual images (sometimes thousands or more) can later be combined into stunning time-lapse videos using dedicated editing software.

  • Self-Portraits: Let the camera take multiple photos automatically, giving you time to move freely, try different poses, and capture candid moments hands-free.

  • Group Photos: Reduce the chance of blinks or missed smiles by taking multiple shots in succession.

  • Astrophotography: Capture sequences of the night sky to create star trail images or improve image quality through photo stacking (requires software like Photoshop or StarStax for stacking and processing).

  • Stop-Motion Animation: Create frame-by-frame animations by capturing sequential images with controlled intervals.
