ProTimer - Intervalometer

The ProTimer Intervalometer enhances the standard Self-Timer with advanced interval shooting, perfect for time-lapses, group shots, and self-portraits. It provides full control over timing, intervals, and the number of photos taken, making it ideal for both everyday photography and creative projects like astrophotography and stop-motion.

Key features of ProTimer Intervalometer

  • Delay Before First Photo: Set a countdown before the initial shot, allowing time to position yourself or prepare the scene.

  • Total Number of Photos: Specify up to 50,000 shots in a single sequence.

  • Interval Between Photos: Determine the pause duration between consecutive shots to control the pacing of your sequence. Setting it to 0 seconds (“0s”) means capturing consecutive photos as fast as possible.

Common Uses for ProTimer:

  • Time-Lapse Photography: Capture gradual changes over time, such as moving clouds, sunsets, or bustling cityscapes.

  • Self-Portraits: Utilize the delay to position yourself perfectly before the camera captures the shot.

  • Group Photos: Reduce the chance of blinks or missed smiles by taking multiple shots in succession.

  • Astrophotography: Capture long-exposure sequences of the night sky to create star trail images or improve image quality through stacking (requires software like Photoshop or StarStax for stacking and processing).

  • Stop-Motion Animation: Create frame-by-frame animations by capturing sequential images with controlled intervals.
