ProCamera lets you move your photos and videos freely between save Locations, so you can keep your best shots in the iOS media library (Camera Roll) and tuck working files away in ProCamera's internal albums — the Lightbox and Private Lightbox. Every transfer goes through the iOS share menu, where one share option sets the destination: Copy to Lightbox, Hide (=copy to Private Lightbox), or Save to Camera Roll.
To learn how the Save Locations differ, read Save locations for ProCamera files.

Transferring ProCamera files to an external drive
On supported iPhone models, ProCamera can record video straight to a connected external drive: as long as the drive is connected and meets the technical requirements, all videos are saved to it automatically.
You can also export photos or video to an external drive after capture:
- Connect the external drive to your iPhone.
- In ProCamera, select one file, or several at once (see Selecting multiple files below).
- Tap the iOS sharing icon in the bottom-left corner.
- Scroll down the share menu and tap the Save to Files option. The iOS Files app window opens.
- In the Files app, select the connected external drive and choose (or create) a folder for the selected file(s). You might need to tap the back button in the top left in order to see the "Locations" screen in Files app.
- Tap the Save button.
Selecting multiple files
To move several files at once, tap the Multi-Select button. Then swipe across rows of thumbnails, or tap thumbnails one by one, to choose them.
